A bargain for a night of top-drawer entertainment! If your social schedule is jam-packed (lucky you!) we will be repeating our performance on SUNDAY, MAY 7 at 2 pm at the ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 5830 NY-81, Greenville, NY. Same deal as on Friday – tickets $10 at the door. Sponsors tickets will be honored at either performance.
Our super conductor (clever word play) Julie Carney has created a fabulously entertaining program that is as enjoyable to listen to as it is to sing!
Our keyboard savant Annette Boprey is gamely tickling the ivories.
Soprano Rachel Wagman and accompanist Michael Clement will be joining us for our Friday evening concert. Rachel will be singing a little opera, a little jazz, a little………something wonderful!
Don’t forget to join us after each concert for an Afterglow reception of cookies – homemade, of course – and conversation! Two wonderful events in the EXTREMELY near future.

About the Treble Choraliers
Formed in 1951, the Treble Choraliers is the oldest women’s vocal ensemble in the New York State Hudson River Valley. We are a non-profit, sponsorship-supported arts organization dedicated to performing women’s choral music.
We are currently 30 voices strong with members from Greene, Columbia, Albany, Rensselaer, Dutchess and Ulster counties. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and musical experience, united by our common love of choral music. Our youngest member is in her twenties; our oldest is in her seventies.
Our repertoire and arrangements for musical tastes are wide-ranging and eclectic and include: Early Music, Ethnic Folk Songs, Gospel/Spirituals, Jazz, Classical, and Musical Theater. Composers represented in our recent concerts include: Randall Thompson, Cole Porter, Mozart, Irving Berlin, Brahms, Duke Ellington, Roy Orbison, Benjamin Britten, Gustav Holst, Bach, and Faure.

Join Us!
We invite women of all ages (including students) who enjoy choral singing to join the Treble Choraliers.
We perform two concerts a year, the Winter Concert in early December, and the Spring Concert in early May. Rehearsals for the winter begin right after Labor Day in September, and spring rehearsals begin after New Year’s. We rehearse on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9:30pm at the Catskill Methodist Church, 40 Woodland Avenue, Catskill.
Our repertoire is wide ranging and eclectic, including early music, folk songs, spirituals, jazz, classical music from every era, musical theater and pop. We sing in 3 or 4 part harmony, accompanied or unaccompanied, preparing approximately 10 selections for each concert. Dues are $25 per season.
We invite prospective members to join us at the first two rehearsals of each season (September and January) to see if this group is a good fit for you. Levels of musical and choral singing experience vary within the group. We work hard, but we also have FUN!
