United Methodist Church – Woodland Avenue – Catskill NY
As has been our custom for more than half a century, the Treble Choraliers invite a special Guest Artist to join us for our performance. Our guest artist for our Spring 2018 concert is Meadow Suite!
Please see our upcoming concert page for information on Meadow Suite.
Following the concert, the audience is invited to join the singers and our guest artist for an Afterglow Reception in the church Fellowship Hall. The coffee is hot, the punch is cold and the cookies…….homemade and delicious!
Tickets for the May 4th concert may be purchased at the door. Suggested donation is $10.
Information on becoming Treble Choralier sponsor will also be available the evening of the performance. If you would like to learn how you can become a sponsor of our group, a member of the Choraliers, or if you have any questions, please contact Kathy at 518-755-4467.

About the Treble Choraliers
Formed in 1951, the Treble Choraliers is the oldest women’s vocal ensemble in the New York State Hudson River Valley. We are a non-profit, sponsorship-supported arts organization dedicated to performing women’s choral music.
We are currently 30 voices strong with members from Greene, Columbia, Albany, Rensselaer, Dutchess and Ulster counties. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and musical experience, united by our common love of choral music. Our youngest member is in her twenties; our oldest is in her seventies.
Our repertoire and arrangements for musical tastes are wide-ranging and eclectic and include: Early Music, Ethnic Folk Songs, Gospel/Spirituals, Jazz, Classical, and Musical Theater. Composers represented in our recent concerts include: Randall Thompson, Cole Porter, Mozart, Irving Berlin, Brahms, Duke Ellington, Roy Orbison, Benjamin Britten, Gustav Holst, Bach, and Faure.
The Treble Choraliers conducts a subscription campaign every year from January to April. These funds provide approximately 90% of our operating expenses. The remainder is provided by membership dues, grants and other contributions.

We rehearse on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9:30pm at the Catskill Methodist Church, 40 Woodland Avenue, Catskill.
Our repertoire is wide ranging and eclectic, including early music, folk songs, spirituals, jazz, classical music from every era, musical theater and pop. We sing in 3 or 4 part harmony, accompanied or unaccompanied, preparing approximately 10 selections for each concert. Dues are $25 per season.
We invite prospective members to join us at the first two rehearsals of each season (September and January) to see if this group is a good fit for you. Levels of musical and choral singing experience vary within the group. We work hard, but we also have FUN!
